On 24.12.2021 and 31.12.2021 our support will only be available via e-mail. Between and after the holidays we are available for you as usual and look forward to your inquiries and calls.

Due to increased costs in purchasing and our already very favorable prices, we unfortunately have to adjust the prices for the TLDs .ch and .li. Therefore, as of 01.01.2022, the prices for registrations and renewals will increase by one euro to 16.07* EUR.

The Swedish Internet Foundation has updated its terms and conditions for .se and .nu domains.

Due to an increased purchase price for some domain endings, we have to adjust the prices for these domain extensions on 2021-12-15.

The registry for .COM domains is adjusting its prices as of 01 September 2021.

For the generic top-level domain .COM, the fee for registrations, transfers and renewals will therefore increase to € 13.69* from 01 September. The current price of € 12.87* is still valid until 31 August 2021.

Our tip: Renew your domains in advance! .COM domains can be paid for up to ten years in advance.
So you can renew your domain for nine additional years and save up to 6.20* €!

If you have individual prices with us, these will also increase by the difference of 0.68* €.

On 20.04.2021 we will change the location of the name server ns3.inwx.eu to ensure an even better connection here and to be able to use new functions. From 18.05.2021 the old IP address 213.239.206.103 (IPv6: 2a01:4f8:222:b03::2) is no longer functional. The new IP address is: 45.87.158.53 (IPv6: 2a02:d500::53).

The nameserver sets available in our customer area will be adjusted accordingly and you will not have to make any changes for your domains.

In the following cases you will still have to take action:

• You use the INWX name servers as virtual nameservers. In this case, you will receive instructions by e-mail to adjust your affected domains.
• You are using scripts that set IP addresses of nameservers via API.

The registries for .dk and .hamburg domains are adjusting their prices soon. Thus for the country-code top-level domain .dk (Denmark) the registration and renewal price will raise to 23,80* € from 03.05.2021. Furthermore, the price for registrations, transfers and renewals for the top-level domain .hamburg will increase to 49,98* € from 01.07.2021. 

International Women's Day on 08.03. is a regional holiday in Berlin. Our customer support will not be available on this day.

If you are familiar with the domain world, you have probably heard about "typo domains". But even a beginner, who is not into domains and web hosting, probably has a rough idea of what is hidden behind this term.

Typo domains are domains that have similarities with another, already registered web address. Mistyped domains are often caused by a small inattention, while typing in the browser bar: A forgotten dot, letter or hyphen can lead the user to land on another website. But also misspelled letters, duplicated letters or classic spelling mistakes are popular sources of failure.

If you haven't thought about the choice of your domain name carefully and deeply enough in advance, you quickly run the risk of losing customers before they actually have a chance to see your website. A suitable domain name is therefore essential for your online success. Even though it is possible to change the domain name afterwards, such actions might have a negative impact on your business.  

Because INWX only wants the best for you and your business, we would like to give you some tips and tricks to help you choosing your ideal domain name. 

On 12.01.2021, maintenance work will take place on our name server infrastructure from 6:00 am until around 12:00 pm. While there will be no problems with resolving your domains, customers who use our name servers will experience some restrictions during this period.

Since December 2020 our customers have the possibility to start AuthInfo2 orders directly on our website, if a normal authcode for the transfer of a .de domain is not available.
